¹ I'm Irish diaspora, Wαpanáhkiwi(Pαnawάhpskewi & Peskotomuhkat¹`), Norwegian & Swedish Sea Sámi(Mearrasápmelaš), Polish, & Norman. My Wabanaki heritage is recognizable to my people in specific parts of our ancestral land. Outside of that context I benefit from white privilege & do not in any way "pass" as anything but white. Culturally I was fairly immersed as a young child, but have lost touch with much of my family. My Aunties passing damaged my connection significantly, and while I'm not comfortable discussing BQ with non natives, I am 1 generation removed from formal recognition by my nation. I don't claim any legal benefits nor do I have any desire to. My Sámi heritage is similarly removed.

¹`My grandfather was never involved with his community as an adult, outside of his immediate family, & I've recently been learning more about his & his little sister's childhood through my Great Auntie, now that both of my grandparents have passed. Pop & Auntie are Peskααtamóhkαti. I feel better about exploring that connection now than I previously did & look forward to learning more from my mum's cousins.

² I'm nonbinary. I'm trigender. I'm mostly a man. I don't feel obligated to go into the specifics, nor are they all that important for most people to know. I'm not Two-Spirit. I am intersex.

³ My pronouns do not change. My names do. I have many names & switching them up gives me a sense of comfort in my gender that I think may be consistent with the sort of congruence some trans people with multiple pronoun sets feel when people switch up their pronouns. It's just nice & I appreciate it. Please never do it with my pronouns, but please do consider juggling a few of my names around. They're listed on my pronouny & my pronouns+ pages, though may a bit out of date. Personal tribal names are obviously withheld, as are some names for privacy reasons. in certain conversations, i may acknowledge the shared origins between some religions i think it’s important to bring attention to:
